The Top Buyer's Agents and Teams in Every State Are Now on the Record

For most of real estate's history, the buy-side of a transaction has been the invisible half. When a deal closes, the listing agent's production gets counted, tracked, and ranked. The buyer's agent's contribution disappears into the data. There has never been a public, consistent, verified record of who the top buyer's agents and teams are, by state, by quarter, at national scale.

CINC and Agent Pronto, both part of the Fidelity National Financial family of companies, built one.

The Quarterly Index is a joint research project that ranks the top 25 buyer's agents and teams in all 50 states by total buy-side transaction volume every quarter. Every ranking is built from confirmed transaction data. Every state report includes the agent and team rankings alongside market context: months of supply, median prices, days on market, and year-over-year comparisons that show how the quarter's conditions shaped the production numbers.

The Q2 2026 edition, covering April through June, is live now across all 50 states on Agent Pronto's website. Here is what the national picture shows.

The stories vary across markets

The single most important finding from Q2 2026 is how different individual states are from each other. In the same quarter, New York's median sale price grew 7.4% year over year while Vermont's fell 2.0%. Connecticut ended June with 2.2 months of supply, the tightest in the country, while Hawaii stayed above 6 months all quarter, the only state operating in buyer-favorable conditions. Montana's median days on market ran near 85 days. Virginia's held at exactly 37 days for all three months of the quarter.

These are not variations on the same story. They are different stories playing out simultaneously, and the agents and teams working each market are operating under materially different conditions. A national market average does not describe any of them accurately.

What the rankings reveal

The Q2 2026 top 25 rankings in each state capture both ends of what buy-side production looks like at the highest level.

In Texas, Christopher Marti closed 119 transactions in a single quarter. In North Carolina, Tiffany Williamson closed 115. In Ohio, William Gabbard closed 111. That is sustained production at roughly one completed transaction per business day, held across 90 days, in three of the most active residential states in the country.

At the other end of the spectrum, in Wyoming, a single closing at $1 million was enough to qualify for the top 25. The rankings are calibrated to each state's market. They show who is leading in context, not against a national standard that has no bearing on local conditions.

The confirmed transaction addresses in each report add a layer of specificity the rankings alone cannot provide. Park City, Utah's 84098 zip code contributed 10 confirmed transaction addresses to Utah's Q2 top 25, the highest single-zip concentration in the national dataset. In Virginia, two different agents each closed a property on Georgetown Pike in Great Falls at addresses 9605 and 9607 in the same quarter. The rankings tell you who leads. The addresses tell you where the market actually lives.

What you will find in your state report

Each state report contains three things: a market snapshot covering supply, price and absorption trends for Q2 2026 with a year-over-year comparison; a chart showing months of supply for Q2 2026 against Q2 2025; and the full rankings table for the top 25 buyer's agents and teams by total transaction volume in the quarter.

The market snapshot is built from Redfin single-family home data. The agent and team rankings come from Agent Pronto and CINC's proprietary buy-side transaction database, which aggregates buy-side activity nationwide. Together they put production numbers in context: the rankings show what it took to lead the buy-side in a specific market, under specific conditions, in a specific quarter. That context is what separates a ranking from a raw number.

A record that builds over time

The Quarterly Index publishes every quarter. Q1 2026 was the first full national edition. Q2 2026 is the second. Each quarter that publishes adds to the record and makes the prior quarters more useful. Patterns that are invisible in a single quarter become clear over time: which markets are tightening, which agents and teams are sustaining volume across multiple quarters, which communities are generating the highest-value buy-side transactions in each state.

If you are a buyer's agent or team lead, your production is in this record or it is not yet. If you work with buyer's agents, the agents and teams who define top-end buy-side performance in your state are named in it. Either way, the data is now public, it is verified, and it adds a new edition every quarter.
