Buyer representation looks different in every state. A top-25 buyer's agent in Florida is rarely doing the same work as a top-25 buyer's agent in Indiana. Median price points, inventory pressure, days on market, the share of luxury activity: all of it shifts the moment you cross a state line. Until now, there has not been a clean way to see those differences side by side.
That is what this series is for.

What is in each state report
Each report is a standalone read of roughly 700 words, plus a chart and the full top-25 table. The structure is consistent across states, which makes them easy to compare:
- A market snapshot covering inventory, median sale price, days on market, and months of supply, with a year-over-year comparison to Q1 2025
- A ranked list of the top 25 buyer's agents and teams in the state, sorted by total transaction volume for the quarter
- Closing counts, total sold volume, and median sale price for every ranked agent and team
- A short analytical read on how those top 25 actually reach the rankings, whether through high-volume mass-market work, luxury specialization, or some mix of the two
The data behind the rankings is drawn from Agent Pronto/CINC buy-side transaction records. Market context comes from Redfin single-family home data.
What we are seeing so far
Even in the first ten states, the patterns vary widely. Some markets ran tighter on supply than they did a year ago. Others loosened. A handful sit firmly in seller-favorable territory below the 6-month balanced-market threshold, while others remain well above it.
The top-25 rosters reflect those conditions. In some states, the rankings are dominated by high-volume operators clearing 50 or more closings at near-median price points. In others, the list is overwhelmingly luxury, with a handful of agents and teams reaching the top through a small number of very large transactions. Most states sit somewhere in between.
We have not tried to flatten those differences. Each state report is written from the data on the ground in that state.

A note on how to read the rankings
The top 25 in each state is sorted by total sold dollar volume for Q1 2026, not by closing count. That means luxury specialists will appear alongside high-volume operators, and the two are not directly comparable. An agent with 6 closings at a $4M median is doing fundamentally different work than an agent with 60 closings at a $400K median, even if their total volumes land in the same neighborhood. The reports call this out where it matters.
The rankings also reflect available transaction records. Agents and teams not included in any given state's top 25 may have comparable or stronger performance that is not captured in our data sources. The lists are a useful read, not a final word.
