    The Google real estate CPL was higher (full report here) during the 1st quarter of 2022 than it was in the same period of 2021. However, the CPL remains below pre-pandemic levels.

    The large cities with the best CPLs were St. Louis, Tampa and Houston. The city with the highest CPL was San Francisco, which has the highest median home price.

    Most cities posted higher lead prices, although some of the largest cities showed improvements - including Chicago, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and San Antonio.

    The first quarter was strong - the second-lowest first-quarter results in CINC's history. We're starting to see some softening in the CPL in the second quarter due to a decrease in online home search traffic. This may result in a higher CPL in the second quarter.
